Over the week, the Karasuno players continued to attend classes and train after they ended. After a few days, Friday finally arrived, and the tests had been graded and were about to be handed back to the students.
"Here are the corrected tests, come get them when you hear your name!" said a teacher.
"Sakuma..." called the teacher.
"Here..." replied a student as he received his test.
"Toyama..." called the teacher.
"I'm here!" responded the boy, also receiving his test.
"Hinata..." called the teacher.
"I'm here!" said Hinata, raising his hands and then receiving his test.
"Alright! That was the last one... not a perfect score, but it's good enough. The important thing is that my spot for Tokyo is secured!" thought Hinata, admiring his work.
"Now we just need to see how the three idiots did..." thought Hinata as he left the classroom and headed to the locker room. Climbing the stairs, he found only Asahi, Daichi, and Sugawara.
"Hey, how's it going?" asked Hinata.
"Well, we finally get some time off from school," said Daichi while organizing some things in his bag.
"We passed! I bet you didn't have any trouble either, right?" asked Sugawara.
"Yeah, everything's fine on my end! Now we just need to find out about the rest of the guys!" said Hinata before being interrupted by the locker room door swinging open abruptly, revealing Tanaka and Nishinoya entering the room along with the second-year members.
"LOOK AT THIS! WE GOT FIFTY-FIVE!!!" shouted Tanaka, already taking off his shirt and spinning it in the air.
"I'VE NEVER BEEN THIS CLOSE TO AVERAGING IN MY LIFE! THIS IS AMAZING!" yelled Nishinoya.
"Well, at least you passed..." said Sugawara.
"Don't be like that, Sugawara-san! This is the best they can do for now!" said Ennoshita as he entered the locker room.
"And it's all thanks to Ennoshita-sensei!" said Tanaka gratefully.
"Hey, Ryu, don't forget about Shoyo either! That special technique he taught us was a huge help!" said Nishinoya.
"Everything's fine here too..." said Tsukishima calmly, entering with Yamaguchi and Kageyama.
"Wait, you passed?" asked Hinata expectantly.
"Tsk! I got exactly sixty points. Why did they put so many interpretation questions?!" complained Kageyama as he walked into the locker room.
"Wow! Looks like he didn't miss a single kanji question!" said Daichi as he took Kageyama's test and started analyzing it.
"I told you! I told you to read carefully and analyze the context!" sighed Hinata.
"What could I do?! Understanding the meaning of those words in the middle of those huge texts isn't as easy as it seems!" complained Kageyama, pointing his finger at Hinata.
"Calm down, everyone... in the end, it all worked out!" said Sugawara, trying to defuse the situation.
"Well... I expected something like this to happen, which is why I emphasized that part, but the important thing is that it was enough to keep you in the clear!" said Hinata, now a bit calmer.
"So it looks like we'll all be ready for Tokyo!" observed Asahi.
"Then I should remind you all that we leave tomorrow morning, so be here!" warned Daichi.
"WE'LL BE READY TO SHOW THOSE TOKYO PLAYBOYS HOW TO REALLY PLAY VOLLEYBALL!" shouted Tanaka excitedly.
"HEY! WHEN WE GET THERE, DON'T GO CALLING THEM NAMES LIKE THAT, YOU'LL GET ME IN TROUBLE!" shouted Daichi.
Then everyone went home, and a day passed. Hinata had packed everything he needed into a bag and was ready for the trip.
"Son, be careful! Big cities can be dangerous, so don't do anything shady!" pleaded Hana.
"Relax, I'll only be there for two days this time, and I'll just focus on volleyball," replied Hinata.
"Mom, since big bro is going on a trip, can I have your little game?" asked Natsu.
"No, Natsu... you can't even read yet, and I'm taking it with me," replied Hinata, patting his sister's head.
"Mean!" said Natsu, sticking out her tongue to tease him.
"Alright... alright... I'm off!" said Hinata as he walked to Karasuno this time. When he arrived, he noticed the bus that Takeda drives parked in front of the locker room, with some members of the volleyball club nearby. He saw Kiyoko and Yachi talking and went over to them.
"Good morning! How are you, Yachi-san?" asked Hinata.
"Ah... I'm fine, thank you!" replied the girl, a bit shyly.
"And you, Kiyoko-san? By the way, you're as beautiful as ever!" said Hinata with a smile.
"Thank you..." thanked Kiyoko, blushing slightly as she turned her attention back to her conversation with Yachi. Hinata then decided to head over to the other Karasuno players.
"Look at him... he's getting bolder with Kiyoko-san!" observed Tanaka.
"ANSWER ME, HINATA! ARE YOU DATING HER OR NOT?!" shouted Nishinoya, more excited than he should have been.
"Stop shouting like that, you maniac... not exactly, why? Are you dating Yonezawa?" asked Hinata.
"Not exactly..." replied Nishinoya, now less energetic and more thoughtful.
"Everyone's here, so get on the bus!" said Ukai, clapping his hands to get everyone's attention.
"Come on, guys!" said Takeda, sounding excited as he spoke from inside the bus through the driver's window.
"Man, this isn't going to be more than four hours, is it?" sighed Hinata as he got on the bus and sat down.
"Stop complaining. Once we're there, you won't even remember how long the bus ride was," said Daichi as he got on.
"STEP ON IT, TAKEDA-SENSEI! WE'RE NOT AFRAID TO DIE!" shouted Nishinoya after sitting down.
"YES, WE ARE! WE'RE VERY AFRAID!" countered Hinata, who still hadn't gotten over his fear of school trips.
After four hours of travel, during which the Karasuno players spent time talking and some sleeping, they finally arrived at their destination in Tokyo.
