beels wrath and something beyond

The words Leonel had just spoken were something nobody should have ever dared to utter—especially not in front of Beelzebub.

"Ah! How! How! How! DARE you speak of my liege that way?!" Beel's voice shook with fury as an unimaginable surge of mana erupted from his body, expanding outward at an alarming rate.

In an instant, a cataclysmic force engulfed the world, spreading beyond 1,000 kilometers—drowning the entire Forest of Terra, Wilfharm, Aelfhim, and even several surrounding nations in its oppressive might.

To those unfortunate enough to sense it, it felt like the end of the world had arrived. Some believed the demon race was about to annihilate humanity.

But the truth was far simpler.

Beelzebub was about to get mad.

---

A Wave of Fear Across the Lands

Aelfhim:

Princess Roselle's golden blade gleamed mid-air as she halted her swing, her body tensing. A pulse of raw power coursed through her veins—a presence too familiar to ignore.

"...Beel?" she muttered.

Her gaze flickered toward the source, her brows furrowing in slight concern. Who was the poor fool that angered him to this extent?

Still, she had no time to intervene. War loomed on the horizon, and she needed to be ready. She pushed the thought aside and resumed her training.

---

Wilfharm:

Inside a quiet study, Luseraph calmly turned a page in his book, sipping his tea.

"Hah... That idiot," he muttered, shaking his head.

He sighed, clearly unbothered yet vaguely amused.

"I asked him to fetch me dragon meat, and now he wants to wipe out half of humanity in the process?"

---

Adventurer's Guild, Wilfharm:

The Guild Master clenched his fists, his entire body trembling.

"This aura..." His expression darkened. "It feels familiar, yet… stronger than before. Far stronger."

His mind raced back to two unknown adventurers who had registered only two days ago.

"...Could it be them?"

His eyes narrowed.

"If so… are they responsible for the missing adventurers?"

---

Rexburg Kingdom:

The King of Rexburg paced frantically in his chamber, his face pale with terror.

"D-Damn it! The Rominary Red Bandits promised they'd leave us alone if we sent them twenty prisoners every week!" he bellowed, his voice cracking. "We've already met this week's quota, so why is this happening?!"

He peeked out his window.

His kingdom was in chaos.

---

The Root of the Storm

Back at the heart of the conflict, Beelzebub's cold voice pierced through the suffocating silence.

"Do you truly believe that possessing Anti-Demonic Magic means you can stop me?"

With each step he took, the earth crumbled beneath his feet.

"There are thousands of ways I could kill you here and now."

His silver pupils gleamed with unforgiving malice.

"And I promise you... every single one of them would hurt like the flames of hell."

Leonel's knees buckled as cold sweat poured down his face. His mind screamed at him to run, but his legs refused to move.

"Ah… shit."

This is bad. This is really bad.

Once again, he found himself helpless. Once again, death was the only road ahead.

I don't want to die. I don't want to die!

Trembling, Leonel fell to his knees.

"I'm sorry! Please, have mercy!" he begged, his pride vanishing in an instant.

He had already experienced death once.

He wasn't ready for a second time.

Even if it meant groveling, he would live.

He would survive—and find a way to get stronger.

But Beelzebub only scoffed.

"Mercy?"

His expression twisted into something inhuman.

"How laughable."

"Tell me, human. When you slaughter insects, do you stop to hear their cries? Do you spare livestock when they beg for their lives? Do you listen to the monsters you kill?"

Leonel's face paled.

"In my eyes… you are no different."

His voice was emotionless.

"Your pleas for mercy mean nothing."

A pitch-black sphere manifested before him.

"Ultimate Spell:"

Beel's voice rang with absolute finality.

"Vorago Ultima Mindi: Final Maw of the World's End."

A tiny, black dot floated in the air.

At first, it seemed insignificant.

Then, in an instant—

The world collapsed around it.

The dot expanded to the size of a human head, devouring everything in its wake.

Air. Light. Earth. Water. Space. Magic.

Everything disintegrated into oblivion.

Leonel's own mana was ripped away.

[It was nice knowing you, Host.]

The system's voice was cold.

Leonel's body felt light.

This was it.

This was—

---

A Shadow Appeared.

A figure with long black hair and piercing crimson eyes stood before the abyss of destruction.

Luseraph.

With an effortless motion, he placed his hand on the devouring mass.

The energy sphere trembled.

It shrank.

Yet, even in its smaller form, it continued to consume all.

Except for one thing.

Luseraph.

Nothing it touched could harm him.

"Beel."

His voice was calm—yet carried an undeniable weight.

"Do you really need to destroy the world just to kill a single human?"

A heavy silence followed.

Beelzebub hesitated.

"...I—I'm sorry," he muttered.

Even then, his gaze remained locked onto Leonel, filled with pure, unfiltered killing intent.

Meanwhile, Luseraph compressed the sphere even further before casually hurling it skyward.

The devouring force left the atmosphere, vanishing into the cosmos.

Unfortunately, something stood in its way.

The Sun.

---

Darkness consumed the Earth.

For a brief moment, the world was swallowed by night.

Millions panicked.

Believing the world was finally ending.

Luseraph sighed.

"...Looks like I made an even bigger mess than you."

Scratching his head, his figure vanished.

"Wait! Don't leave me with him!" Leonel screamed.

Beelzebub took another step forward.

"Curse you, human."

---

Meanwhile, in Space...

Where the sun had once shone brightly—

Now, there was only emptiness.

Luseraph floated amidst the void, his gaze flickering with curiosity.

"...What the?"

For a moment, he chuckled.

Then, he refocused on the missing sun.

"How should I put this? 'Let there be light'?"

A pause.

"...No, that sounds awkward."

Instead, he simply snapped his fingers.

A small flame flickered into existence.

Then—

It expanded.

A new sun blazed into life.

Luseraph smirked.

"That'll do."

His eyes shifted toward the endless void beyond.

"...My Demonic Eyes reveal everything. Even things I'd rather ignore."

A faint smirk played on his lips.

"For now, I'll let them play their game of absolute order."

And with that—

He disappeared.

"that's enough!" Luseraph said while dragging the hands of Beel before disappearing. "Curse you human!" Beel said to himself as he stared at the human whom he wanted to kill by all means.
