We were invited back to Seoul.

A gallery exhibit for Dora’s new collection. A charity concert reunion with The Kings. They called it The Homecoming.

Dora hesitated at first. “Do you think they’ll forgive us?”

I took her hand. “We didn’t come to be forgiven. We came to finish what we started.”

The day we landed, Incheon Airport didn’t erupt in chaos like before. No screaming fans. No flashing bulbs.

Instead… a small group of fans waited.

They held a single sign:

“Your love gave us courage to be ourselves.”

We both cried.

The reunion concert was surreal. Lee Bin had dyed his hair silver. Dae-Hyun was now producing full-time. Shin had written a solo album. Jemmy brought his fiancée.

When I stepped on stage with them again, I expected nostalgia. I didn’t expect peace.

We sang our final song—“Open Sky”—and as the lights dimmed, I turned to the audience and said:
