Zara stood frozen, staring at the figure before her. Maldrak.
The infamous smirk curled on his lips as he observed her with unsettling amusement. He scanned her from head to toe before stepping closer, his presence dark and looming, yet strangely distant, like a shadow that did not belong in reality.
Zara's pulse raced, but not from fear. She knew.
She knew he wasn't real.
She knew this was another one of his mind games.
"Hmm, you're not afraid of me. That means you already know, don't you?" Maldrak teased, taking another slow step forward.
Zara met his gaze with unwavering resolve, her fists clenching. She wouldn't fall for his illusions. Not again.
"I am aware," she stated firmly, her voice laced with defiance. "I know this is another pathetic illusion. Seems like you're having a good time in jail, Maldrak. so much so that you've come to entertain yourself in my mind."
