(Lilian's POV)

Since Marcus will return today from the barrack,well I want to make it special for him so when he leaves,he will always miss me.

I prepared the dinning like they do in the restaurant making it look romantic with flowers in a little vase on the table while I surround the room with Incense candle that can arouse a person's mind and thought

"Welcome home baby,i know u are probably tired but I want to start cherishing the days with you, so I need you to go freshen up and meet me so I could show you my surprise for you" I told Marcus. "yes ma" Marcus said while saluting me and I just shake my head "go now, so we could start cherishing our moments" I said and pushed him.

When he left,I started making sure everything was in order

Roses ; check

Wine; check

Candles; check

Foods; check

Romantic dim lightand song; check

Since everything was ready,I decided to change into the dress I bought, a royal blue dress with a slit that leaves nothing for imagination with a black heels which made me taller..I put on a simple makeup since I didn't like putting it.

Marcus (POV)

When I was done freshen up,I would have worn some casual but since she said that it was a surprise I thought it would be wise to wear something more formal,who knows her surprise may require one.

When I got to the dining , the room was dim and romantic songs was playing,I smiled because I understood what my baby was trying to do.

Lilian came out from the kitchen and my breath hitched, the dress she wore was one of the gift I gave her on her birthday but she didn't wear it saying that the time will come when she will wear it and I smiled remembering those memories.

"A penny for your thoughts handsome" she said "how about you give me a kiss for my thoughts" I said bringing her closer with my hands around her waist while she hit me playfully.

" So this is the surprise "I said mentally giving myself a handshake for choosing the suit."do you like it" she asked me "No I don't like it" I said while she frowned and left my arm.

"You don't like it? " She asked me "yes I don't like it ..."she cut me off before I could complete it" well since u don't like it then forget let g..."I placed my hands on her lips stopping her from completing her sentence.

"I don't like it because i love it" I said and she gasped then smiled "so you were teasing me huh" she said and I Chuckled then lifted her chin with my hands before kissing her while she kissed me back and I pulled her into my embrace "while don't we start cherishing our moment" I said and she pushed me "no no we are not doing that,I took my time to prepare this, so we need to attend to this first" she said shaking her head to indicate that she is serious."I didn't say that, I was talking about the date u spent your time on.I didn't know my girlfriend has a dirty mind" I said defending myself while she smiled and blushed at the same time.

I smiled because I could do anything to make her smile and blush like that.
