Uzumaki Raiden looked at Uzumaki Naruto in front of him, did not answer the other party's question, and asked after a long pause:
"Boy, what's the matter with the Nine-Tails in your body?"
Naruto's expression changed when Raiden spoke, and he quickly pulled out a kunai, holding it defensively as he asked in a focused tone, "Nine-Tails? What do you mean by Nine-Tails?"
"Who the hell are you?"
Naruto's vigilance heightened as he slightly bent his knees, ready to act at any moment. His posture made Uchiha Fugaku, standing behind him, frown slightly. Fugaku walked over to Raiden and asked in a low voice, "Should I subdue him first? I haven't heard of any other teams performing missions here besides us."
Facing Fugaku's question, Raiden slightly raised his hand to stop him from continuing. Then, in front of Naruto, he removed the mask from his face and said to everyone behind him, "Take off your masks."
"You are? You are!"
"Uncle?"
Naruto was momentarily stunned when he saw Raiden's face. Then he exclaimed directly, and upon seeing Namikaze Minato, who had also removed his mask, Naruto's face filled with astonishment. Another exclamation followed:
"Dad!"
Naruto's words immediately drew everyone's attention. Minato and Raiden exchanged a look before turning their gazes toward Naruto. Fugaku, standing behind them, interjected at that moment:
"Hey, kid, don't go claiming relatives randomly."
"Who's your uncle here? And who's your father?"
"You can eat recklessly, but you can't talk recklessly."
Although Fugaku appeared casual, he understood the seriousness of the situation. An unidentified ninja, wearing the forehead protector of Konoha Village, was familiar with the ninjas in their team. The most critical point was that Fugaku was certain he had never seen this blond boy in Konoha Village before.
It wasn't that Fugaku had a vast network and knew every ninja in Konoha, but given Naruto's age and the immense chakra Fugaku could sense from him, it was undeniable that the boy before them was an exceptionally talented ninja. If such a young talent existed in Konoha, there was no way Fugaku wouldn't have known about him.
"I'm not talking nonsense. You are my—"
Before Naruto could finish, Raiden raised his hand to stop him and said, "Alright, kid, I know what you're going to say. There's no need to continue."
"Let me ask you—where did your Nine-Tails Chakra come from?"
Naruto hesitated but stopped speaking. Just as he was about to explain, Minato stepped forward, stopping between them, and said, "Let's not discuss this now. We should leave here first."
"I know you have many questions, Raiden, but I think it's best not to ask them now."
Although Minato's words were not explicit, Raiden understood his meaning. Taking a deep look at Naruto, Raiden pointed toward the outskirts of Rouran City and said, "Boy, come with us."
With that, Raiden flew directly toward the outskirts of Rouran City, followed quickly by Fugaku and the others. Minato walked up to Naruto, patted him on the shoulder, and then followed Raiden.
"Ah."
"My uncle is younger than me now, and he still calls me a kid," Naruto muttered to himself, then smiled.
"But I didn't expect to see my dad and uncle when they were young!"
Naruto's curiosity had overtaken his focus on chasing Mukade. The chakra fluctuations in the Rouran ruins had likely sent him through time.
Outside Rouran City, strong winds swept across the vast desert, sand slowly eroding the oasis. Somewhere outside the city, Kakashi had constructed a bunker as a temporary base. At this moment, Raiden and the others sat on the ground, facing Naruto.
"Tell me who you are and what's going on with the Nine-Tails' Chakra," Raiden asked.
"You don't need to say everything. I know you're from the future. I just want to know how you got here."
Raiden's primary concern was the Nine-Tails Chakra, but he framed his questions to give others context. The group quickly realized that Naruto was from the future.
Fugaku, Kakashi, and the others now looked at Naruto with curiosity.
"My name is Uzumaki Naruto. I am—"
Before Naruto could finish, Fugaku leaned forward, placed a hand on Kakashi's head, and exclaimed, "What? Uzumaki?"
"Wasn't your father Raiden? Are you Raiden's son?"
Fugaku's face was filled with surprise. Studying Naruto, he muttered, "Raiden's son is blond? His mother must be from the Yamanaka clan. They're the only ones in Konoha with blond hair."
"But these blue eyes… who in the Yamanaka clan has blue eyes?"
Fugaku thought he had solved the puzzle. However, Naruto waved his hands repeatedly and clarified, "No, no, no. My father is Namikaze Minato. Raiden is my uncle."
Fugaku was even more astonished.
"What? You're Minato's son?"
"Emmmm."
"You don't look like him."
Fugaku remained silent for a moment before Raiden finally intervened, smacking him lightly to stop further speculation. Turning back to Naruto, Raiden asked, "Forget him. I understand who you are."
"Now tell me—what's the story behind your Nine-Tails Chakra?"
Raiden's concern was directly tied to his own survival. If he was destined to die young, he was determined to change that future.
"Oh, you mean Kurama," Naruto began. "The Fourth Hokage sealed him inside me before he died."
Naruto's words made Raiden's pupils contract slightly.
"The Fourth Hokage… Minato dies young?" Raiden thought.
"The Fourth Hokage, you, Uncle Raiden, sealed the Nine-Tails inside me."
