Chapter 210: The Man Who Saved the Field!

"It's not even close, kid!"

Things rarely go as expected. Before Obito lost consciousness, he was sure Kakashi's attack would land. But after he blacked out, the Mist Ninja reacted swiftly.

Just as Kakashi's attack was about to connect, the bone knife piercing Obito's body extended suddenly, branching out. In an instant, a sharp bone emerged in front of the Mist Ninja's face, intercepting Kakashi's Chidori.

"Clang!"

Kakashi's attack struck the bone, creating a harsh noise. The Mist Ninja retreated quickly, pulling Obito's body with the bone knife before letting him collapse to the ground.

Rin hurried to Obito's side and immediately began attempting medical ninjutsu. However, the Tailed Beast chakra leaking from her body caused her efforts to fail repeatedly.

"Why… why won't it work?!"

"Please… just work!"

Rin, desperate, knelt beside Obito, watching as blood pooled around him. Tears streamed down her face as she fumbled to stop the bleeding. Finally, Rin pulled out her medical bag and began bandaging his wounds, though she knew it would be futile without first stopping the hemorrhaging.

"Damn it!"

"Is this guy a Bloodline Limit ninja from Mist?" Kakashi muttered, keeping his eyes locked on the enemy. He had never seen such strange jutsu before and was on edge against this unfamiliar threat.

"Let's finish this one first!"

The young Mist Ninja smirked, lunging at Kakashi with his bone knife. The surrounding Mist Ninja simply stood watching, showing no intention of intervening or helping their injured comrade.

The Mist Ninja and Kakashi engaged in close combat. Despite his youth, Kakashi's skills were impressive. His short blade managed to hold off the Mist Ninja's unique bone attacks for a time.

"Hey, hurry it up, Kaguya Kiyomasa. Don't drag this out!" one of the observing Mist Ninja called, growing impatient.

Though Kakashi was able to hold his ground for several rounds, his body was covered in shallow wounds. None were fatal, but they were in critical areas, showing the Mist Ninja's superior skill.

"The gap in strength is too wide!"

"If he wanted to kill me, I'd already be dead… Is he toying with me?" Kakashi thought, his fear growing as he realized how outmatched he was.

"Enough games," Kiyomasa said with a cold grin. He pushed Kakashi back and murmured, "Dance of the Camellia."

White bones erupted from Kiyomasa's body, encasing him in sharp spikes. He now resembled a hedgehog, making direct attacks nearly impossible.

"Ten-Finger Drilling Bullets!"

Kiyomasa extended his hand, firing bone bullets at Kakashi.

"Rin! Obito!" Kakashi shouted, unable to dodge as Obito and Rin were directly behind him. Choosing to shield them, he moved forward, deflecting the bullets with his short blade.

"Snap!"

The blade shattered under the strain, leaving Kakashi defenseless. A bone bullet pierced his calf, sending him crashing to the ground.

"Die, brat!" Kiyomasa laughed, raising his bone knife high and aiming for Kakashi's head.

"Rasengan!"

A golden flash filled Kiyomasa's vision, and an instant later, a tremendous force struck his abdomen, blasting him away. The attack came too quickly for Kiyomasa's Bloodline Limit to react.

Kakashi, lying on the ground, blinked in disbelief. The figure standing before him was all too familiar.

"Sensei?" Kakashi gasped, recognizing Konoha's Yellow Flash—Namikaze Minato!

Minato had noticed the unnatural fog while searching and decided to investigate. Seeing his students in peril, he acted immediately to save them.

"Are you alright, Kakashi?" Minato asked, his voice calm but serious. "Let's get you all out of here."

After knocking Kiyomasa away, Minato didn't waste time. He noticed Obito lying unconscious and covered in blood. The sight was grim.

"It's Konoha's Yellow Flash! Retreat! Retreat!"

The leader of the Mist Ninja shouted, panicked by Minato's sudden appearance. The Mist Ninja scattered, leaving their fallen comrade behind. Kiyomasa, lying in a crater, couldn't get up, and his team showed no intention of helping him.

Minato, unconcerned with the fleeing enemies, knelt beside Obito to assess his condition.

"This is bad! Lin, use medical ninjutsu to stop the bleeding!" Minato urged.

"I… I can't!" Rin sobbed, tears streaming down her face. "The Tailed Beast chakra… I can't control it!"

Before Minato could respond, Obito coughed weakly, blood trickling from his mouth.

"There's no time. I'll take you all back to camp," Minato said decisively.

Placing a hand on Rin and Obito, Minato activated the Flying Thunder God Technique, teleporting them to safety. He quickly returned to grab Kakashi, disappearing once again.

The forest fell silent after their departure. Minutes later, rustling sounds broke the stillness as the Mist Ninja crept back to the scene.

"Captain, Namikaze Minato escaped with the Jinchūriki. Should we release the Tailed Beast now?" one asked.

"Not yet. First, confirm the Jinchūriki's location. It's not too late to act later," the leader said with a cruel smile.

"Hehehe… Namikaze Minato, do you really think you've won?"

Laughter echoed through the forest as the Mist Ninja disappeared into the shadows.
