Chapter 469: This World Has Never Had Real Peace!

"This power… it's the power granted to me by the Sage of Six Paths!"

"I feel like I can do anything right now."

Uzumaki Naruto opened his eyes and slowly rose from the ground. He looked down at his hands, hesitating for a moment—then a rush of excitement lit up his face.

Raising his head, Naruto's gaze pierced through countless barriers, seemingly locking onto Uzumaki Raiden.

"Uncle… I'll bring peace back to the ninja world with my own hands."

A confident smile formed on Naruto's lips. As he began to channel his chakra, six black Truth-Seeking Orbs appeared behind him, forming a circle. His feet lifted from the ground as he floated into the sky.

On the other side, Uchiha Sasuke pressed one hand over his Nine-Tomoe Rinnegan, quietly feeling the immense power now coursing through him. As he looked toward Raiden, his eyes were filled with unshakable confidence.

Naruto and Sasuke had awakened the power to change the ninja world.

"Sakegari no Tachi... I'm glad you're still by my side."

Uzumaki Raiden felt the overwhelming chakra rising from both directions. He pulled Sakegari no Tachi from the ground, gripping it tightly. His expression darkened for a moment—then quickly returned to calm.

"Come then, you two brats!"

Raiden stepped forward, a layer of black thunder armor surging across his body. His bright red hair floated upward, and the dormant Yin Seal on his forehead suddenly opened. A massive wave of chakra erupted from within, dark lines spreading from the seal and covering Raiden's body.

A terrifying surge of chakra shot into the sky.

The clouds above were blown open as if a hole had been punched in the heavens.

The pressure radiated outward from Raiden like a shockwave.

"Scatter—Yiku!"

Raiden growled low, and with a casual swing of his blade, a deep ravine split the ground. At the same moment, two streaks of light—one azure, the other violet—flashed toward him from opposite sides, moving faster than the eye could follow.

Raiden lowered his center of gravity, dug his feet deep into the earth, and raised his arms.

Boom!

Clang!

Two distinct sounds echoed. Raiden caught Naruto's close-range punch with one hand, while his blade met Sasuke's sword with the other.

Their opposing chakras collided with Raiden's in a violent clash, unleashing a tremendous shockwave. The surrounding forest was obliterated—trees ripped from the ground and hurled into the sky. Within several kilometers, the entire area was flattened into bare land.

Raiden's arms bent slightly as he absorbed their combined power. He grinned.

"The power of the Sage of Six Paths… is nothing special!"

With a roar, Raiden twisted and threw the two of them away. He then gripped Sakegari no Tachi with both hands, and nine golden chains emerged from his back, shooting toward Naruto and Sasuke.

The two were flung across the ground, their bodies skidding through the soil. Though they managed to adjust midair and land safely, the force still left deep gouges in the earth where they stood.

Then came the sound of a sonic boom.

Shhhhhh!

The golden chains whistled as they tore through the air. Even before reaching them, the oppressive sensation made both of them wince.

Naruto had no time to dodge. He summoned a black Truth-Seeking Orb into his hand, which quickly transformed into a long staff. He swung it just in time, deflecting the incoming chains.

Sasuke, by contrast, remained calm. He glanced at a pebble in the distance—and vanished. In his place, the pebble now sat, only to be struck moments later by four golden spikes. Dust exploded from the impact.

Sasuke reappeared where the pebble had originally been.

"Naruto's Truth-Seeking Orb… and Sasuke's ultimate space-time technique—Heavenly Hand Power."

"So... Sasuke's Rinnegan really was gifted by the Sage of Six Paths."

"They've both met him!"

Raiden narrowed his eyes. Their reactions confirmed his earlier suspicions. Until now, he hadn't seen Naruto's Truth-Seeking Orbs or Sasuke's new abilities clearly—but the way they defended against his Kongō Fūsa left no doubt.

Whether they were Ashura and Indra reincarnated, or merely his enemies now, one thing was certain: their attacks carried true killing intent.

If Raiden hadn't been strong enough, he might already be dead.

"So… you've made up your minds."

"In that case, I won't hold back either."

Raiden's expression hardened. The golden chains retracted and began wrapping tightly around his body, forming a cocoon-like sphere. It rapidly grew in size. Raiden planted Sakegari no Tachi into the ground—its physical form shattered, transforming into a spiritual blade that expanded outward.

"What is that?" Naruto muttered in awe. He hurled his black staff toward the golden sphere—but the chains easily deflected it.

Sasuke, however, chose caution. He retreated tens of meters, increasing the distance.

The sphere swelled in an instant, becoming a massive golden "egg" several hundred meters tall and nearly one hundred meters wide. The sky darkened—clouds roiled, and lightning flashed across the heavens.

Crack!!!

A bolt of lightning struck the egg's peak, and a fissure split down its center.

A dazzling golden light burst forth. Naruto and Sasuke shielded their eyes with their arms, peering through the cracks between their fingers.

From within the cracked shell emerged two immense golden wings. Between them stood a towering figure clad in golden armor, holding the spiritual form of Sakegari no Tachi in one hand. With a solemn stance, it loomed like a divine sentinel.

As the golden-armored giant emerged, the sky churned with violent thunder. Lightning rained down upon it—yet the giant only grew stronger beneath the storm.

"What the hell is that?!"

Naruto stared wide-eyed, stunned. He had never imagined his uncle held such power. Even without witnessing its true strength, he could already feel it—this was no ordinary opponent.

Boom!

The golden-armored giant suddenly moved. Its massive blade came down toward Naruto like a god's judgment. His scalp tingled in alarm, and he barely escaped in time.

The slash struck the ground.

In an instant, the earth split open—forming a deep ravine hundreds of meters wide that stretched for miles. Naruto, though shielded by his Truth-Seeking Orbs, was still blasted through the air, tumbling wildly before he stabilized.

Floating midair, he stared down at the endless chasm in disbelief.

"The power of a god?!"

Even Sasuke, watching from afar, was shaken. "Is this... really a ninja?"

But he quickly composed himself.

"Susanoo!"

Sasuke's chakra erupted, and a giant purple form took shape—his Perfect Susanoo, now complete after receiving the Sage's power.

The towering figure rose into the sky, majestic and powerful. But when it stood before Raiden's golden-armored giant, it looked... small.

Like a man beside a mountain.

Susanoo barely reached the giant's chest.

In comparison, it seemed fragile.

Sasuke inside Susanoo looked up at the golden colossus, overwhelmed.

"Hmph! Susanoo."

Raiden scoffed.

The golden giant stretched out its left hand and grabbed Susanoo's head. Sasuke tried to escape, but the giant moved with incredible speed. It slammed Susanoo to the ground, half-burying its head in the earth.

Then it bent its knee, pinned Susanoo by the neck, raised its left hand—and prepared to strike.

Just as Sasuke braced for impact, the pressure vanished.

The giant staggered slightly.

Taking the chance, Sasuke slipped free and soared into the sky. From above, he finally saw what had intervened.

Beside the golden-armored giant stood a massive blue seraph—formed entirely of chakra.

It wasn't a seraph in the traditional sense. Its form mirrored that of Chōmei—Chōmei, the Seven-Tails. A manifestation of Naruto's chakra, now enhanced by the Sage's blessing.

"Even with the Sage's blessing… can Chōmei's power do this much damage?"

"To actually shake my golden body…"

Raiden, deep within the golden giant, felt a faint fracture in the armor's waist. It was small, but undeniable.

This golden giant, formed from Kongō Fūsa and overwhelming chakra, had near-impenetrable defense. No Tailed Beast should be able to damage it.

But Naruto had done just that.

"The two of you... you'd better make this entertaining!"

With a roar, the giant spread its wings and took flight. It extended its left hand toward Susanoo and the giant insect, drawing them together.

"Chibaku Tensei!"

A gravitational pull erupted from the hand, yanking both beings—and the land around them—into the sky. Soil, boulders, and trees were drawn in, rapidly engulfing Naruto and Sasuke.

In seconds, the two were entombed within colossal spheres of rock, floating midair like satellites.

The golden-armored giant hovered above, blade in hand, and spoke solemnly.

"You two have never seen the true cruelty of this world."

"Your shallow ideals can never change anything."

"This world is far crueler than what you've seen—or imagined."

"Peace?"

"This world has never known real peace."

"But don't worry."

"I'll show you what true peace looks like."

"And when that time comes..."

"You can pick up the torch."

"But right now—"

"This is not your time."
