IAN'S POV
I nodded, feeling my heart pound in my chest. "Yes, Leah. It's you."
I could feel the connection between us, like a chord of energy stretching between our hearts. The bond was undeniable, and I knew it had been there from the start. The silence that followed was heavy with meaning.
She was processing it all, the implications, the emotions. And then she looked at me, a mixture of surprise, uncertainty, and something else I couldn't quite read.
I could tell that Leah was still processing this new information, so I gave her a moment to let it sink in.
After a few moments, she looked at me again, her eyes filled with emotion. "I've never felt anything like this before," she said, her voice trembling. "I thought I was just imagining it."
I reached out and took her hand, feeling a jolt of electricity run through me at the touch. "It's not your imagination," I said.
"Our wolves are connected in a way that's deeper than anything we've ever felt before."
