LEAH'S POV
"He's calling." I told my sister.
"Why don't you pick up and hear what he has to say, Leah." she advised.
I took a deep breath and then answered the call. "Hello?" I said, my voice sounding small and nervous.
"Hey, Leah," Ian said, his voice gentle and full of concern. "How are you doing?"
"I'm okay," I lied. I didn't want to tell him how I was really feeling. It would only make things more complicated.
"You sure?" he asked, clearly unconvinced.
"Can we see and talk? Are you home, maybe I should come over so we can talk?" he said.
"No, I don't want us to see and talk, Ian. There is nothing to talk about.
I rejected you as my mate. So I think it's time you let me go and obey your parents and marry Louisa." I said.
"No, I don't want to marry Louisa, Leah. I want to marry you and make you my Luna." He said on phone.
"Well…. your parents don't want that and honestly I don't want you to disrespect your parents because of me." I said.
