IAN'S POV
But Louisa was resolute. She didn't budge from her position.
"There is no other way," she said.
"It's either you marry me, or I hurt Leah. I give you 24hours to think about it. And also she's in my custody until you make a decision." She said.
"I ordered my men to abduct her immediately you left her house."
"Just let her go. She didn't do anything wrong." I said.
"Oh, she did. She stole my mate." She said.
"But I was never your mate. We were nothing to each other until our parents arranged for us to get married." I said.
Louisa frowned, her face contorted with anger and hurt.
"You're not being honest with me," she said.
"You and I both know that we were more than just an arranged marriage. We had something special, something real. And then she came along and ruined everything."
I felt a surge of anger.
I had never meant to hurt Louisa, but there was nothing between us.
