LEAH'S POV
"I know it's still hard," she said. "And I know you're worried about telling Ian about Aiden.
But I think you need to give yourself some credit. You're an amazing person, and I think Ian will be happy to hear about your past,"
"I just... don't want him to think I'm a bad person," I said, my voice quiet. "I know that I've made some mistakes in my life, and I'm not proud of them. But I'm trying to be a better person,"
"And that's what matters," Clara said.
"That's why I have to tell him that Aiden showed up at my school recently and wanted us to talk, but I never gave him a chance saying that it was long over between us when he cheated on me with Caroline," I said.
"And I'm sure he would understand and appreciate your honesty," she said.
"Are you sure about that? He might feel that maybe Aiden might return and take his place since he was my first love and we had Lana together so… our connection is deeper and stronger than our own," I said.
