Isla's POV:
We reached the end of the path and there was just a cliff which led to nothing ahead of us. We were cornered by the woods from all the three sides and then the cliff.
'What now? 'I asked.
'Jump.' Riley didn't give me the time to comprehend of what she meant by that before she actually jumped off the cliff.
I felt the weightlessness and adrenaline rushed through my veins. The immediate fear of my kids in danger made me to struggle mid air.
'Why did you do that? 'I cried.
'Just wait and watch. Nothing will happen to the pups. '
I really hoped her words would have reassured me but instead whatever she said only made me more anxious as our body came closer to the water beneath us.
Within a minute, we were drowning deeper and deeper into the cold water and the difference between everything faded. It was dark and cold underwater.
