CHAPTERr 82 It's Not Her Fault

  Ryan's POV

  "Where is Blaze?"

I roared in the phone, and it's been two days. That's two days too much! I lost her smell, lost her track, but I still felt her distress through the hunt mark seep through every now and then. Knowing how far away she had to be for me not to smell her but still feel her stress, it was eating me alive. I knew these emotions that managed to reach me were only a fraction of it, meaning she was suffering. The amount of pain and fear she must be feeling right now..

I shook my head. No. I can't think like that; I need to keep calm and think clearly. But I also needed Blaze! He has been gone for over 24 hours, and I needed an update. Anything at all! My knuckles whitened on my phone while I scanned the area beneath me. It I was probably the fifth time I flew over this place with the helicopter, but I was about to run out of options.

"Sorry, Alpha. He is still not responding."
