Mason POV
I watch helplessly as Rowena runs from her apartment. She leaves me standing in the kitchen dumbfounded. My fists ball up at my sides, and I slam them down on the hard granite of the kitchen counter. The granite cracks under the pressure of my fist. "Fuck," I groan as I look at the destruction. I will have to pay to have this fixed.
Taking deep breaths in and out of my nose, my anger at myself finally subsides. Now that I can think clearly, I know I pushed Rowena too hard. I should have never tried to force her to say she loves me.
'Go after her,' Micco says in my mind. 'Apologize before we lose her.'
I know he is right, and I decide to chase after her. As I run out into the hall, the elevator doors open, and a deep growl leaves my chest as Tristan steps out.
"What the fuck are you doing here?" I snarl at him.
