Rowena POV
I stretch my arms to the side, and the sheets are cold beside me. My eyebrows wrinkle, and a pout tugs at my bottom lip. It is the first time in a week that my mates haven't been at my side when I woke up in a week. Sitting up in the bed, I look around the room, and they are nowhere to be seen.
For once, my heat isn't burning at my skin. I sigh with relief. My heat is finally over. I can get back to things as normal. But there is something that I don't want to go back to normal, and that is my mates. I have enjoyed their attention over the past week. I don't want things to go back to the way they were.
Loud voices coming from the bathroom catch my attention. Tristan and Mason are arguing over something.
Getting out of bed, I pad across the bedroom floor and lean my ear up against the door. A loud growl rumbles the bathroom door, and I jerk away in fear.
"We aren't doing it again," Tristan screams at Mason.
