CHAPTER 84 Protector

  Travis' POV

"This is your last chance to tell me what's going on before I leave you here to rot, she bitch," I said with threat, a growl simmering in my throat.

"You really know how to make a girl feel good," Haley said, as I saw a slight smirk shape on her lips, a contrast to the fear in her eyes "I can't tell you anything, because there's nothing to tell,"

I grunted, she was beginning to frustrate me now.

'What do you think, Clay?' I asked my wolf as I reached out for him internally 'Is she telling the truth?'

'I think she is,' Clayton said confidently as he stirred 'Give her a chance, she may be a great asset to us,'

'Ugh,' I said in a juvenile tone 'I was afraid you would say that. I don't want to trust her,'

'Then don't,' Clayton said 'Not until she has earned your trust, but also don't give up on Haley prematurely. I have a feeling we need to keep her around,'

'I hate that you're right,' I said with defeat before ending the conversation with my wolf.
