CHAPTER 51: Labour

  Months later...

  Daisy POV

I felt a sharp pang in my lower abdomen, causing me to wince in pain. At first, I brushed it off as just another discomfort of the late stages of pregnancy, but as the sensation persisted, I couldn't ignore the growing intensity. I glanced nervously at Gabriel, who sat beside me on the couch, engrossed in his phone and pack business. Since we had claimed back my estate, we had made it a lovely home. The nursery was all ready for the twin's arrival, thanks to Avery and Laura going overboard like the crazy but loving aunties they would become. I smiled at the thought of how loved my babies would be. Of course, I wished my mother could be here to see it and be by my side, but unfortunately, I knew that wouldn't be possible.

"Gabriel," I called out, my voice trembling with pain and uncertainty. He looked up, his brows furrowing in concern as he noticed the distress on my face.
