Daisy's POV
The drive to my childhood home was a blur, the familiar streets and landmarks passing by in a haze as my mind replayed the day's events. It wasn't until we turned onto the winding driveway, the manicured gardens and stately façade of the house coming into view, that the reality of the situation began to sink in. I placed a hand on my pregnant belly and smiled at the image of my future here with my little family. I wished that Gabriel could be here with me right now, but I was grateful to Avery for being with me still.
As we pulled up to the front entrance, I felt a lump form in my throat, a wave of emotions threatening to overwhelm me. This was the home I had grown up in, where so many cherished memories had been forged, and now it was indeed mine – a tangible embodiment of my mother's love and legacy.
"Here we are, Daisy Stone. Your beautiful home." Avery gushed with excitement.
