CHAPTER 76 Hard Decision

I heard a knock on the door and I slowly turned my gaze to the door. I contemplatively invited the person in, and the door opened, revealing Caroline. I sighed inwardly as I stated at her expressionless face. I just hoped whatever she had to say would put me in a tight spot.

"We need to talk, and I'm not listening to your bullshit excuses," she said sternly.

"What is it that you want to talk about?" I asked, preparing myself for what she had to say.

"These past few days, I have learned where I stand in this pack. I have made provision for everything before informing you," she said, folding her arms below her breasts.

Standing up slowly, I tried to comprehend the unfathomable look in her eyes. "You made provision to leave without telling me," I inquired, dumbstruck by the news.
