CHAPTER 72 Miscarriage

  Dana POV

"You think about me!? Did you even think about how you sleep with that bitch knowing that she has slain my parents, and now you act like you love me!!?" My words erupted like molten lava, fueled by the seething anger and betrayal that consumed me. The realization that Ares could betray me with someone who had caused me so much pain was a betrayal beyond comprehension, leaving me reeling with a mix of anguish and rage.

"I have my reasons, Dana. Please listen to me, be with me before you wed Bathel-"

"I don't want to," I interrupted him, my voice thick with anger and resentment. "I could never go back to you after what you did to me, Ares. Is this your devised plan with that bitch!?" I cried out, the bitterness of betrayal burning within me like a flame.

"I don't care about her!" Ares protested desperately, his voice cracking with emotion.
