CHAPTER 60 The journey to the Rainbow Pack

  "Did you know my mother? Do you know where I can find any living relatives of hers?" Benson asks anxiously.

  "The most important answers you'll find in the book. You need to go now. Someone is waiting for you," the sorceress declares and leads us out of the library.

  We tried to argue with the sorceress, but it was in vain. As soon as we left the library, a closed sign appeared in front, and the door locked, the sorceress gave us a friendly smile before disappearing from our sight.

  "Are sorcerers always this weird?" I ask concerned, and Benson lets out a humorless laugh.

  Of all the weird things the sorceress had said to us, she had nailed the last one in a very creepy way. When we returned home to the top of the hill, Alpha Alex's car was parked in front of the garage.

  When we entered the house, Alex was already there waiting for us. His face carried a concern that sent shivers down my spine.

  "Alex, what happened?" Benson asks seriously.
