CHAPTER 69 Trapped in a Cycle: Breaking the Chains of Fate

  Emily Pov

"No, not again," I murmur to myself as I realize where I am.

I look around, worried. Even though I don't want to, I'm forced to walk through the hallway of my old house. Instinctively, I put my hand on my stomach. My pup still lives inside me, and tears fill my eyes for the death of my first child.

An explosion occurs outside, causing me to startle in fright, and forcing me to run into my room.

I don't want to be in here, I don't want to relive this again. But that's what happens, everything repeats itself. I'm inside the room, and Nina and Jimmy Doorson appear with their venomous words and physical assaults. The fire is already spreading through the room again, engulfing the furniture, and the bed.

I feel the heat enveloping me and burning me alive. The smell of my burning flesh fills my nostrils before death embraces me with its cold arms.
