CHAPTER 63 Companion

  Ally's POV

The ancient text lies open before me, its pages brittle with the wisdom of ages. I trace a finger over the faded script. Elliot stands across the table, his presence as commanding as the moon's pull on the tides. Our eyes meet, an unspoken agreement that these prophecies will not dictate our future. We are rulers in training, not bound to whispers of doom.

"Ally," Elliot's voice is steady, "remember, we govern now for the people who breathe under our care- not for shadows that may never come to pass."

I nod, a silent pledge etched into my resolve. We turn back to our books and parchments, our minds syncing in the pursuit of knowledge.

Later, with the library's wisdom nestled within me, I steal away from the watchful eyes of tradition. The sun dips low, casting a golden hue over the Luparian Kingdom, beckoning me toward liberation. I find myself at the stables, where noble steeds whicker softly at my approach.
