CHAPTER 89 To Unity

  Ally's POV

The air is thick with the scent of pine and the smouldering embers of celebration fires. My heart beats in rhythm with the distant thrumming of drums, a sound that echoes through the Luparian Kingdom's newly erected walls. We stand, Elliot and I, amidst the remnants of revelry, our breaths mingling in the crisp night air.

"Ally," Elliot's voice is a low rumble, tethered to the darkness, "Tonight marks the birth of our kingdom, but it won't truly be complete until we find Poppy."

I nod, my fingers dancing along the intricate embroidery of my ceremonial dress, a garment woven from the very essence of dawn- my inner wolf stirs, her restlessness mirroring my own. "A new celebration," I murmur, "a symbol of freedom once she is gone."

Elliot steps closer, his presence a solid promise against the uncertainty of the night. "It will be a celebration to end all others, one that will heal the rifts and bind us stronger than before."
