"You're always causing problems, Hazel. You know we're the ones suffering because of you!" Grace yelled, this time sitting down next to Kitty. Her long red nails pointed at Hazel's face, filled with anger.
Hazel swallowed hard. This was such a bad morning. She had come here to clear her mind, but Grace and Kitty had ruined her plans.
"Can you guys leave? Or should I go?" Hazel's voice trembled with confusion. She was embarrassed and worried that Grace would humiliate her. Oh, she already had! Everyone was staring at them, and unfortunately, Esme was nowhere to be seen. The order counter was far down the corridor. Hazel felt cornered.
"Look who's talking! You're so annoying! You should've left quietly! Understand?" Grace snapped her fingers, lighting a cigarette. She took a deep drag and blew the smoke into Hazel's face, causing her to cough.
