"You are not the only one with spies infiltrated, Rowan," Ethan declares with a hint of spite in his voice, his eyes sparking with disdain. The tension in the air is almost palpable, like a thread about to snap at any moment.

Rowan crosses his arms in front of his body, a gesture both confident and defiant, and lets out a disdainful laugh that reverberates through the roadside where we stopped. "Yes, but I think I am the only one who knows how to actually use my spies," he replies, each word laced with cutting sarcasm.

Ethan moves toward Rowan at the provocation, his anger is evident in every determined step, but I intervene, positioning myself between the two, trying to dispel the charged energy between them.

"What do you want exactly, Rowan?" I ask worriedly, my voice carrying a tone of urgency I cannot hide. My heart is racing, and I feel the pulse in my ears, each beat is a reminder of the importance of this moment.
