Berton's POV
After a very long and tiring day at work, I finally returned home feeling a lot better by the fact that I was no longer caught up in the four walls of my office. I was greeted by the comforting warmth of the house, which was just the opposite at my office. I had no idea why it was that way, but being at that office seemed to carry a feeling of dread to it lately.
I couldn't tell what the exact reason was, if it was because of the amount of work that I'd had to deal with every day, or if it was something else entirely. Well, the good thing was that I was back now, and that was all that mattered. As I walked through the hallway, the aromas of something delicious cooking in the kitchen reached my nose. I scrunched up my nose as the sweet scent graced my nostrils.
