Emily's POV
"You did well today, I have a friend that would need your help. She wants you to attend her wedding, but she doesn't know how to get in contact with you, so I told her that she could reach you through me. If you're free, then some of these days we could go over to the side to discuss it personally," the lady said with a smile. I was currently backstage. I just finished playing the piece that I had been practicing for.
"Really? Thank you so much. I'd love to play for her on her wedding day. I'll let you know once I'm free," she said and she smiled happily.
"Alright, I'll leave you then," I turned to leave the place.
I took a cab home, and once I opened the door of my previous apartment, my mind drifted back to the incident that had occurred. I had been staying here after the break-up, I had relocated back to my old apartment, not wanting to have another encounter with Berton after everything he did.
