CHAPTER 19 A PIECE OF CAKE

  NINA'S POV

It was around nine o'clock in the morning and and most of all, a weekend, which meant I had all the time in the world for myself. I felt so refreshed and relaxed as I leaned into my arm chair and twirled around. My eyes was closed and a soft smile danced on my lips.

"Mhmm…" I muttered as I opened my eyes slightly. As I made my coffee, a buzzing sound came from my phone. I groaned and got up, pissed that my lovely morning was interrupted.

As I took my phone on the counter, I glanced at the notification. And there it was, an email notification from the competition organizers!

My heart skipped a beat as it began to race with panic and nervousness. And without wasting much time, I opened the message.

"Oh my God, oh my goodness!" I exclaimed with happiness, excitement piquing to its peak. I could hardly believe what I was seeing, the preliminary rounds requirements were finally sent to me! I took a deep breath, trying to control my excitement.
