NINA'S POV
As I watched Leo through the cafe's glass window, my mind was a jumble of mess. I was literally battling my inner turmoils to stay calm.
I couldn't face Leo, not now. His presence only reminds me of past memories I struggled hard to bury.
I sighed softly, spun my heels and walked away, there was a waterfall close by and I was going to stay there until my head cleared up a bit.
As I reached the waterfall, I sat by the waterfall, listening to the sound of the water rushing down. The air was cool and fresh, with a gentle breeze blowing through the pine trees. The mist from the waterfall felt refreshing on my skin, but I couldn't shake off the feeling of unrest inside me. I kept wondering if my mother's death was really just an accident, or if there was more to it.
Could it be true? Could my mother's death really be more than just a tragic accident?
