Elena's POV.
I stared at the comment, my mouth hanging open in disbelief. How could Anna twist the story so completely, and how could people actually believe her? It made no sense to me.
I scrolled down further and saw a comment from one of Anna's friends, "We begged her to please forgive Anna, but she didn't listen."
As I read her comment, my eyes widened in shock and I dropped my phone in disbelief. This was madness. How was I supposed to prove my innocence? The truth was, I was the victim - Anna had attacked me first.
The more I thought about it, the more my head aches. I tried to massage away my head with my fingertips, pacing back and forth in frustration. But nothing seemed to make sense. I moved to the window, sitting down on the sill as I stared blankly outside.
At this point, I wished I could turn back the hands of time. I wouldn't have touched her. I would have let her beat me, just so people could finally see her for who she truly was.
