Elena's POV.
As I slowly opened my eyes, I let out a groan and snuggled deeper into the pillow, switching sides with a sigh. But then, it hit me - I was too comfortable. Why was I so comfortable if I was supposed to be in a dungeon?
I sat up with a start, rubbing my eyes in disbelief. But when I opened them again, I was still in a grand, luxurious bedroom that looked quite familiar. I rubbed my eyes once more, trying to clear the haze.
How did I get here? Where was Derek? And where was Marrok? My mind raced as I tried to remember. The last thing I recalled was Derek drinking my blood... So how did I end up here, alone and unharmed?
I called out for Derek, but there was no response. I quickly got out of bed and approached the door, but before I could open it, Mercy burst in, smiling.
"You're awake!" she exclaimed. I was taken aback, confused. "What am I doing here?" I asked, my mind racing. Mercy chuckled and placed her hands on my neck, causing me to flinch.
