With a loud growl, I transformed back into my human form and let out a sigh of relief. But then, Derek's scent filled my nostrils, and I knew he was close.

"Richard, you can't stop me now," I said, my voice trembling with anger. "Derek is here. I can feel it. My Derek is here," I exclaimed, my eyes scanning the area frantically.

Marrok nodded, his eyes locked on mine. "Let's find him," he said, and I nodded, ready to take action.

But then, I heard a faint sound. My heart skipped a beat as I recognized it.

"He's there," I exclaimed, pointing to the corner of the basement. Marrok nodded, and we rushed towards the spot, our footsteps echoing off the walls.
