Elena's POV.
"Derek, please speak to me! You're scaring me," I exclaimed, holding him close, but he remained silent, his body tense and rigid. If I touched him, he would flinch.
"Please, Derek," I begged, my voice cracking with emotion.
"Go away," he managed to shout, his voice weak but firm. I shook my head, sniffing back tears.
"I'm not going anywhere, Derek. Please, what's wrong with you? What's happening?" I begged, my desperation growing. But he remained silent, his eyes closed, his body trembling in my arms.
"Just go away or knock me out," Derek muttered, his voice weak but resolute.
I held him tight, tears streaming down my face as I sat beside him, pleading for someone to help. Marrok, who had been sleeping, woke up with a start.
"What's wrong?" he asked, his voice laced with concern. I turned to him, my voice trembling.
