CHAPTER 84 Pain

  Magnus' POV

I made my way to the dark and gloomy dungeon where Daisy was being kept.

I slowly turned the rusty key in the lock and pushed open the creaky door.

As I entered the cell, I saw Daisy sitting on the cold, hard floor, looking utterly exhausted.

Her eyes were sunken, her skin pale, and her body slumped in defeat. She seemed to be drained of all energy, her usual sparkle and vitality gone.

She gazed up at me with a mixture of desperation and resignation, as if she wanted to scream, to fight, to escape, but her body was too weak, too drained from the days of captivity.

I saw a flicker of anger, of resentment, but it was quickly extinguished by the exhaustion that seemed to suffocate her.

"Carry her!" I commanded the two witches who were standing guard outside Daisy's dungeon cell.

And without hesitation, they quickly moved to obey my order. They gently lifted Daisy into their arms and began to follow me out of the dark and musty cell.
