Blair's Pov
The words I wanted to say in response to the lad in front of me got stuck in my mouth that as I felt a cold hand touch me on my shoulder. I turned to look at the person touching me. It felt like I was looking at an angel. His brown hair matched with his honey-colored eyes with water dropping from the side of his face.
He blinked at me, a smile on his lips that revealed a set of white-colored dentition. His chest heaved. Standing half naked in front of me with the only piece of clothing I suspected was on his body was the white towel he tied on his hip. It hid nothing but the bulge in front of him that vibrated with every move.
Six packs graced his abdomen, folding into shape every time he took a breath in.
"I'm sorry if I might have taken you by surprise there. Your face looks like you might have seen a ghost," he said, pointing at my face to gesture at what he meant.
I cleared my throat, shaking my head as I had almost jumped out of my skin. He was right to say I was scared, but everything felt good after he apologized, but I felt it only became better when he smiled at me. A wide smile from cheek to cheek that would literally steal your heart if you weren't looking. "It's fine."
"My name is Caleb," he said as he stretched his hands towards me for a handshake. I placed my hand in his, feeling his skin was actually softer than it looked. Our hands shook for a while, with my head nodding like a lizard.
"Nice to meet you, Caleb," I said after I controlled my drooling look, turning to face the stubborn streak in the room.
"I think it would be better if you stepped out of the way for a while. It looks like you've occupied every point that I could barely squeeze through," he said as he folded his hands over his impeccable skin.
I looked down to see he was not wrong as I had taken a part of the door while my bag took whatever space that remained. "I'm really sorry about that," I said as I stepped out of the way to let him pass by.
"It's nothing. I only wanted to take some lotion from him as the one I had was finished," he said as he skipped into the room.
"If only your next-door neighbor could accord me some respect as his babysitter. Maybe I wouldn't be here, arguing with him," I said as I looked over at the guy.
"Don't mind Sinclair. He has always been like that," Caleb said as he moved to the table, taking a bottle of lotion in his hands.
"Sinclair," I muttered the name as I turned in his direction before returning my gaze to Caleb's nice body.
"Hey. Drop my lotion. I do not know what you did with yours that have it finishing within three days of our arrival," Sinclair said, pointing at Caleb.
"Stop being a scrooge right now," Caleb said with a smile as he poured the amount he needed into his hands. "Since you are new to the house. There are a lot of things you have to do," Caleb turned to me as he spoke, flashing me a smile with his arguably neat dentition.
"I know I am new. A few pointers should point me in the right direction." It felt good talking to someone with a higher I.Q than the young man I had seen his genital skin deep in another gender.
"A list to find out what's lacking and what we have in abundance. The house is all yours, just as it is ours," Caleb said as he stretched his hands.
"I would appreciate it if you could give me hints of what I need to shop for so I can do so quickly," I said, shrugging my shoulders.
"Well, we can start with my finished lotion," he said with a chuckle as he spread the amount he had taken on his body.
"That looks like a number to score," I said with a chuckle as I placed my hands in front of me. Sinclair said something. I did not bother to look out while the she-wolf moved over to him, rubbing her hands on his back. "Any other thing that could be lacking in your room you would like to give me more details on?"
"I'd say you try to do as much as you can do for today. The list would come in handy when you are going to the store. Apart from that. I'd let you know if there was anything that I'd borrow from Sinclair's room," he said, as he flashed me a grin.
"I'll do just that," I said with a smile as I turned away from the room, walking towards my baggage, I dropped in front of Sinclair's door.
"Why are you stressing over her?" Sinclair said. He had taken the time I and Caleb spoke to dress properly, standing up while he tied the end of the drawstrings together.
"That is like the least I could do for her since she is here on an assignment," Caleb said, nudging towards my side while he poured more lotion on his body.
"Why shouldn't he? At least he is trying to help his babysitter unlike someone I know," I shot back at him.
"You talk too much, pookie," he said as he stood with his hands in his waist with his shirt flying open, exposing a tanned chest.
"Pookie?" I thought, narrowing my eyes as I stared at him.
"I really do not care if you are a babysitter, a guardian, or even a butler. You have got to mind your tone whenever you speak to me. You are, and will always be, lower than me," he said as his eyes moved from my legs to my face, scrutinizing me.
"And if I do not mind my tone. What do you think you can do?" I asked as I folded my arms over my chest.
"Your tone with me would decide if you remain here," he said with a grin on his face.
