CHAPTER 19: Harder Than I Thought

  Blair's POV

Earlier today, I swore not to get myself involved in anything that concerned the three men I'm babysitting, but after Sinclair returned and I watched him put Agatha off, I felt maybe not all of them deserved the resentment I was harboring.

But after my concerns with him that obviously didn't end well, I went back to my decision and this time there isn't any going back.

"What's for dinner, miss 'I'm-not-a-maid'?" Agatha asked as she walked into the kitchen, but I didn't bother looking up because she doesn't deserve as much as an ounce of my attention.

"I'm sure those lips of yours can do better if you use them properly," she said again and threw a handful of cherries from the fruit bowl into her mouth.

I ignored her and carefully marinated the chicken in front of me. My silence annoyed her, and I loved it.
