Sinclair's pov
"Blair..."
"Sinclair.."
Her soft voice echoed in my head, and the gleam in her eyes wiped all the anger I felt before walking in here. I walked up to her and pulled her into my embrace.
"I thought something bad had happened to you," she said and looked up at me with those beautiful crystal eyes.
"Nothing can happen to me, I will happen to things," I replied, and we laughed.
"There he is," Caleb called out, and Blair quickly pulled away from my arms.
"No, don't worry, Blair, I'm not going to rat you out," he said, and she dropped her head. I looked around for Gabriel, but it seemed he wasn't home, so I sank into the sofa, trying to contain the joy of seeing her again.
My plan to stay away for two days seemed like a burden to me, and I couldn't cope with staying away from her, so I just dropped all my scheming and returned to her.
"How have you all been?" I asked, and Caleb sat beside me while Blair returned to the kitchen.
