CHAPTER 31: Threatened

  Blair's pov

  I remained quiet for the rest of the journey, and the only thing on my mind at the moment was how to face his mother and whatever impression of me she had in her head.

  "Don't think too much about it. She'll still kill you anyway.." Sinclair said, and my brows formed a bow.

  "Thank you so much, Sinclair, that was so helpful of you!" I snapped and threw my eyes out the window.

  There were guests in the house as we arrived, and I felt my knees falling apart. The first time I arrived here was to beg Alpha Atlas to have a little empathy and take us in, but it didn't end really well.

  Now I'm here because I was so stupid to fall in love with their son and allow him to trap me with his charm.

  "Wait here," Sinclair said and walked ahead of me while I stood outside, fiddling with my dress and trying as much as possible to not melt away.
