  Time wasn't in my favor, and the more I tried to convince Gabriel to withdraw his statement, the more he made me look like a weakling, and I can't let that happen.

  Ever since Blair returned from her mother's house, she has become a shadow of herself and even started avoiding me.

  "Caleb, have you spoken to Blair today?" I asked as I walked into his room without knocking.

  "I'm not your wife that you'd barge in without knowing, Sinclair, give me some of that respect," he snapped and tossed the robe in his hand back on the clothe ra

  "My bad. But have you spoken to Blair today?" I asked again, and the look on his face made it clear that he did.

  "She doesn't have any idea on what to do at this moment Sinclair and the least thing she needs right now is any more of the chaos that's already going on" he replied and I joined my brows in confusion.
