CHAPTER 94: Contract

  Sinclair's pov

My father was still not back and there was so much chaos outside with Blair's mother creating a scene out there. My heart sank deep into my stomach after I watched my mother order her men to send Mrs Bridget away, without letting her catch even the slightest glimpse of her own child.

I stayed up in my room and watched the entire drama until everything finally died down. I didn't know whether to be disappointed or not. Decorum had already returned to the house by the time I got downstairs and I bumped into my mother in the living room.

"My child, you won't believe what that witch did this morning.. she sent her mother here to finish off what she started.." my mother said and I just stared at her with irritation in my eyes.

"That's true Sinclair, I witnessed everything and it's so obvious that she's the one who sent for her mother because how else would the woman know where to find her?" Agatha chipped in and I rubbed the bridge of my nose.
