  We drove entirely out of our town, and I got a bit confused, but if it weren't Sinclair sitting in front of the steering wheel, I would have been worried to my bones.

  An hour passed in silence, and we were still on the road. I was getting bored, and the weather slowly changed as dark clouds covered the sky.

  I couldn't stop thinking about the look on Caleb's face the day he bluntly told everyone that I practice witchcraft. All the sympathy he once had in his eyes had all disappeared.

  Caleb was never so attractive to me in that manner, but for someone whom I thought to be a close friend, I was shattered by his piercing words.
