"Oh, don't make me feel on the verge of adrenaline," I murmured, my words trailing off as his eyes locked onto mine with a flicker of intensity.
His gaze seemed to pierce through me, holding a focus that felt both exhilarating and unnerving. It feels like that gaze is forever.
