I chuckled at his words, nodding with genuine excitement rather than pressure. "I could do that," I laughed. "You do have a chance with me, Cedric. It's just that, right now, I'm still figuring out what it means to be in a committed relationship." I smiled as I spoke.
"I will keep pursuing you," he said firmly.
"I don't mind that. In fact…" I hesitated, struggling to find the right words.
"What?" he asked, his eyes watching me intently as I faltered.
"I want you," I said, my eyes landing on his lips. "I want you to keep doing that."
"You're teasing me, Calista," he whispered, stepping closer. His fingers lightly brushed my arm.
"Maybe," I said, a playful smile tugging at my lips. "Or maybe I'm daring you to show these people how you can make a move and prove to me just how good a man you can be."
His eyes narrowed slightly. "Is that what you want? To see if I can handle a little pressure?"
