Calista
"Hey! Party night at 525 Briarwood Lane with my classmates. They hope you can come, and I'm wondering if you actually might show up…" I sent all those messages with my heart pounding, unsure if it was a good idea.
"You did it!" Emma exclaimed happily as she grabbed my arms.
"Yes," I whispered with an awkward smile. I couldn't even imagine them running into each other and had no idea how they would react.
Serafina sighed. "Why on earth do you look so sad? You're connected with the center-of-attention guys, and you're not even happy about getting some attention yourself?" She shook her head, clicking her tongue, and wrapped her arms around her chest.
"Do they all like you?" Viah's question made me flinch.
The three of them laughed and nodded their heads.
"I would pass out and give them all a chance!" Emma laughed louder.
I couldn't help but join in the laughter to mask my awkwardness.
"They're just friends," I admitted.
