Lydia's POV
I could not wait to go back home and vent whatever I've heard and seen for today. Grace would try to console me. And getting outside opinions might help me conclude as well. Taking a deep breath in, I walked into the street, looking back at the restaurant just once more. I leave the place, promising myself to get perspectives as quickly as possible.
However, the whole ride on the bus home, my mind is preoccupied. I almost missed my stop, it would've been taxing for me to miss my stop. I'd have reached a whole other area which is quite unfamiliar to me. Anyway, it takes me five minutes to speed walk towards my apartment complex from the bus stop. The weather is windy and chill as if trying to calm me down. As a gush of wind lifts my frilled top, I gasp and push myself into the gates, almost giving the security a heart attack!
