Lydia's POV
The unexpected thing happens with me. I didn't know I had this in me, but anger quickly takes over me like a curse. Shaking Levi's hands off of me, I look at him with an angered expression and seethe at him.
"You know what? It is actually about Jose. I'm going to his house and yes I'm attending a party which HE invited ME to. Unlike you, who doesn't even go to parties without messing up shit." I say in a spurt of anger.
"...you're going to Jose's?" Levi asks, his expression is changed. Until now, no one has noticed anything wrong as the music whorls everyone around in a rhythmic trance. Not even Grace has come to investigate our argument. Here, at the main door of our apartment, everything seems muffled and less chaotic. Hence, he and I could argue and get our words across. Although mine seemed more regretful. Oh, I'm going to wake up feeling like a failure tomorrow after guilt washes over me.
