CHAPTER 51: Worried

  Lydia's POV

Disheartened, I turn on my heel and head for the elevator. Isn't he awake? He's usually awake and buzzing like a bee at this hour. Despite my protests, he kept pestering me to let him go on a jog the past two days. His wounds haven't healed yet! It's only been five whole days!

Must he be on his jog without my assistance today? I...don't know.

I decide to take the bus to the office; the ride is going to be long enough to make me incredibly tired, as usual. My mind wasn't concentrating on anything but on Levi. Where had he gone?

I've called him twice on my way to the office already. Both at different times. He hadn't picked up. Concern was starting to spike up in me as I wondered what happened to him. Grace must have left for her department earlier as well. I couldn't ask for her to check up on him.

"Good morning, Chief." I greet the chief editor and walk inside.
