Emma's POV
I cocked my head to the side, seeing the fury in his eyes as he said those words, yet the sadness in his tone made me realize that he was angry. Yes, he was downright furious, but not at me but rather at the thought that I was being picky and choosing his brother over him while we were all mates.
I wondered why he was still here after I asked him to leave. Was he that worried about me? If so, then I guess this really broke his heart.
However, I noticed that it was more of jealousy. His eyes looked so sad, and I felt like reaching for him. Something about his expression and reaction felt so satisfying and sweet. For the first time, I was experiencing real jealousy. Someone was actually jealous about me picking others over them.
"That's not what it was Parker," I whispered, reaching for his shoulder, but he tried to shrug my hand away from him. However, this time I couldn't let him. He also had to listen, and I was done being misunderstood.
